Hi, I’m Veronica.
I’m passionate about education, exceptional customer service, and helping school leaders cultivate strong brand reputations for their districts. As a natural connector, I make friends wherever I go—whether at the grocery store or a dinner party—and I always leave with new, meaningful connections.
Where other professional development trainings may fall flat, I bring a unique ability to read the room, adapt on the fly, and align everyone with your district's vision. More than just a trainer, I become your partner in driving alignment, clarity, and a shared sense of purpose.
But I’m not just here for the good times. When tragedy strikes, when there's a complex incident drawing media attention, or when concerned parents storm the boardroom looking for answers, I’m the calm, steady hand that guides you through. Whether you need a thought partner, a wordsmith, or a change-maker, I'm the person you want on your speed dial.
MORE ABOUT MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
As an award-winning, media-trained Public Information Officer with 25+ years of experience in communications, public relations, and customer service, I’m deeply committed to supporting school districts in enhancing their brand, reputation, and community relationships. I’ve been privileged to counsel superintendents and school leaders on everything from board relations to crisis media events to bond elections.
Prior to managing my consulting firm full-time, I served as a Chief Communications Officer for a large Texas school district, where I learned first-hand how to build cohesive communications strategies from the ground up. I also led internal and external communications for 74 schools as Director of Public Information for the eighth-largest district in Texas, served as Executive Director of School/Community Relations, and was the Assistant Superintendent of Community and Government Relations for Leander ISD.
I've served as president of the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) and remain actively involved in the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB), further deepening my connection and commitment to Texas school communities.
With a wealth of experience in handling high-stakes communications—from active shooter situations to public scandals—I specialize in partnering with school executives to build positive, authentic interactions that strengthen community trust and solidarity. Whether I'm delivering professional development workshops, facilitating brand reputation trainings, or helping districts navigate complex media situations, my mission is to empower educational leaders to tell their stories confidently and effectively.
